Blue Can For Britain!!

Many have questioned why a successful boyband have re-united to take up the opportunity to represent their country at Eurovision. But with an impressive back catalogue and an army of European fans....why not?

So, welcome back to the charts....Simon Webbe, Lee Ryan, Anthony Costa and Duncan James as they re-unite as Blue.
They are back with brand new single 'I Can' as our UK entry for this years Eurovision, and with a catchy chorus it is without a doubt a winning song! Written by two of the boys themselves, Lee and Duncan it has a very British feel to this song.

As a fan of the boys, I feel this would be a massive success as a stand along single release, so I hope they do well with it in Germany this month. Also with a brand new album due out by the end of this year, all Blue fans old and new are eagerly awaiting new material.

Blue will be the first UK representatives since The Shadows in 1975 to have had multiple number 1 single prior to entering Eurovision.  The boys are no strangers to Eurovision themselves, having had a hand with other entries over the years.

Lee Ryan wrote 'Guardian Angel' for Andy Scott-Lee's Eurovision entry for the 2005 'Making Your Mind Up' show. Anthony Costa came second with 'It's A Beautiful Thing' in the 2006 show. Then in 2009 Duncan James was a panellist on the 2009 show where Jade Ewen won and represented the UK that year with 'It's My Time'.

This year sees Blue celebrate their tenth anniversary as a band. Since splitting in 2005, the boys have all has massive solo success with solo albums and West End appearances. But now committed to the band again the Boys are back and ready to show us what they are made of!

PS. Watch out Jedward.....these boys can actually sing and have a massive European fanbase!
