Exciting Battle For The Top Spot!

Let the battle commence from today with an exciting week for the singles chart! New releases from Nicole Scherzinger, The Wanted and new Girl Band....Parade!

After massive success judging on the X Factor and a hit song with last single Poision, Nicole Scherzinger is on a roll. New tune Don't Hold Your Breath is impossible to ignore, it will have you dancing in the street as you stroll along with your ipod on shaking your hips!

With an empowering club jam to contend with from the mighty Scherzy it could be difficult to remember that there is a Comic Relief offering from boyband of the moment The Wanted.

Their popularity is on the rise so it came as no surprise that the boys were chosen for this years charity song. Gold Forever sticks to the same formula as the previous hits. Its a forgettable record that without the army of fans or the charity tag would fail ordinarily to make an impact on the charts.

Its an exciting week for new girl band, Parade. Their debut offering is energetic and anthemic. I hope this song is recognised for injecting some modern pop fun into the mix.

But do these new releases have what it take to knock the incredible Adele off the Number One spot?? Someone Like You has been a stomping hit since her emotional live performance at the Brits last month.

With strong contenders already in the top ten from the likes of Rihanna, Lady GaGa, Jessie J and Bruno Mars. Its an exciting weeks for the singles chart.

Turn It Up Louder....Parade Officially Launch Debut

The Parade girls are hoping to march straight to the top of the charts from Sunday. As their debut offering Louder is finally released! Have you joined the Parade yet?

Louder is slick, care free and cool! The melody is anthemic and is designed to make you want to get up and party....Parade style!!

Fresh from the road, supporting Alexandra Burke on a national theatre tour the girls are in full swing on the promotion trail. Next stop supporting Shayne Ward.

With a busy week ahead the Parade Machine is in full force from Saturday. Packing in performances and signings up and down the country. Full schedule below. Its good to see the girls doing promotion the old fashioned way by signing copies of their single.

In the video for Louder the girls have an essence of the Spice Girls with the attitude of Pussycat Dolls. As a fan I am hoping the next single release will be Rollercoaster. The edgy sound, catchy lyrics and the slick dance will certainly stamp their mark firmly at the top of charts. If you haven't seen the girls live yet, see them next Sunday at Thorpe Park!
