Introducing Barbarellas!!

Edele and Keavy Lynch formerly of B*witched – have grown-up and are stomping back onto the music scene as part of the most compelling and captivating acts that the industry has been waiting for– introducing Barbarellas.

After four-years of hard work and perfecting, the result is a sizzling hot metamorphosis of womanhood, with lyrical wisdom and an enriched sound that demonstrates a true coming of age from these once pop-tweens.

The girls have performed live at gigs around Ireland and Britain, and have chosen their music by public demand. Seeing what strikes a chord with people by the reception they received. This way they hope their music will appeal to everyone!

Barbarellas is a musical expression of who the Lynch twins really are now. The girls diligently showcased their sound to live audiences across the UK, experimenting with what really strikes a chord with the public, adapting and fine-tuning their songs to ensure that they’d be fully accepted as mature artists.

As Barbarellas, the Lynch sisters have finally returned and stand ready to inject fresh excitement into the pop world. 2011…get ready for the almighty Barbarellas!

With no sign of Denim, this time around they're serious and are ready to rock! Debut single Body Rock is available from 31st January!

Barbarellas will be performing at G-A-Y in Soho, London on Saturday 29th January!

What The Hell - Avril Returns!!

Avril Lavigne returns with brand new single "What the Hell" which sees the return of the Queen of Pop rock back to rule the charts once again.

It is the first single from her upcoming fourth studio album Goodbye Lullaby, and it sounds like just another perky song helmed pop singalong. However, in the context of the recent breakup of 26 year olds marriage, the words take on more depth.

After listening to the song a few more times, the sentiments are, no pun intended, more complicated than first thought. Her writing and sound is definitely more grown up from the last bubble gum pop music from Best Damn Thing.

The single is out now on iTunes and the official video is at the bottom of this blog.

Parade's All Night Long Success!

A new girl band stole the limelight as a support act at The Pavilion Theatre in Rhyl, where Alexandra Burke headlined. See Total Biz Reviews for the full review or Total Biz Reviews (Alexandra Burke)

Parade marched on stage like a breath of fresh air. As they stood in line glancing at the crowd in the corner of their eyes the excitement was intense. The crowd could not take their eyes off the girls.

They burst into five songs, starting with Perfume, Rokstar, debut single Louder, Cee Lo Green's Forget You and potential hit Rollercoaster.

The Pararade girls all have strong live voices and the confidence in their group which showed in the performance. With their cheeky banter, suggestive dance moves and catchy pop tunes Parade should stand the test of time as the brand new Girl Band for the next generation.

Together these girls are ready to take over the charts, their dance moves were slick, outfits were sparkly and cool and their energy was fantastic!

If you can catch the girls on Alexandra Burke's All Night Long Tour then you will be in for a treat!

The debut video for Louder airs on Thursday 20th January at 5pm. It has the raw talent and excitement of Wannabe (Spice Girls) and the cool, edgy vibe of Dontcha! (Pussycat Dolls).

Look out for that! For a sneak preview see the right hand side of my blog!

Britney is back to her best!

Britney is back and is set to heat up the dancefloor  with her brand new single, "Hold It Against Me."

After many leaked versions of the track online the pop princess herself has announced on her Twitter page that the real version will blow your mind. So, is it worth waiting a month for it to be released?

Totally, the demo of "Hold It Against Me" is one of Britney's catchiest club bangers yet. Pop's ultimate starlet embraces her dance influences more than ever, perfectly delivering an angelic refrain over a propulsive backdrop of potent production from Max Martin and Dr. Luke.

The song proudly stands alongside Britney classics like "Womanizer," "Gimme More," and "Toxic," but with this track  Britney is stepping into new territory and pushing the boundaries of dance pop once more.

She sings "If I said I want your body, would you hold it against me?". It's the hottest pop track of the year, and it signals another new age for one of its brightest stars. Hold this track tight for the ride of your life…

Available here in the UK on February 20th and Britney's as-yet-untitled seventh studio album is due this March. "Hold It Against Me" couldn't come at a better time, and it's bound to be in everyone's head within a day.

Welcome back Britney…

Alex Kicks off tour in Sunny Rhyl!

ALEXANDRA Burke hits the shores of Sunny Rhyl this Thursday 13th January to begin her 31 date national theatre tour. In the first of two sold out shows, the All Night Long Tour is Alex's first tour where she is the headline act.

Rhyl has become a popular venue to host the debut shows for the latest artists to warm up for their shows, from the likes of Girls Aloud in the early days to recently JLS wowing the crowds.

Since winning the X Factor in 2008 fans all over Britain have been waiting to see their winner on the road performing songs from her debut album Overcome.

The wait is finally over as Miss Burke has been busy rehearsing hard to give her fans the show they have been patiently waiting for. Hopefully the additional songs on the deluxe album will feature within the tour too.

The Beast is about to be Unleashed!!!

Supporting Alexandra on the All Night Long Tour is new girl band Parade. The girls, Emily, Bianca, Sian, Jessica and Lauren are currently tipped to be one of the future stars of 2011 from Heat magazine.

Parade have appeared on my blog many times and deserve to be the next big girl band.
This tour will give them a whole new fanbase and I am looking forward to seeing their set, performing live and showing us what they are about.

Good Luck to Parade!

Eyes Wide Shut for JLS!

JLS are back with a brand new single Eyes Wide Shut from their second album. Featuring man of the moment Tinie Tempah the mid tempo ballad will set the mood for the Valentines release.

Singing about how much they can't believe they have the girl of their dreams, they need to sleep with their eyes open to make sure it isnt too good to be true. Its sure to have the ladies swooning after the guys.

The single version is much better than the album track, so I hope this song does really well and it would be fantastic if this could be their 5th Number One!!

With the Arena tour already kicking off in the UK, the lads are set up for another brilliant year. Can they really top an amazing 2010.
