They are....THE ULTRA Girls. Lucy, Laura, Amy and Lauren all from Leeds have released debut single 'Girls Will Be Girls' and what a tune. Its as catchy as a Steps song and as cheeky as a Spice Girls hit.

Proud of their Northern roots, these girls are fiesty and have made it their mission to make fans pop music they can have fun with. They are taking the essence of Girl Power (admitting they were hardcore Spice fans in their teens) and bringing it into the 21st century by adding slick dance routines, funky vocals and lashings of attitude.

So are The Ultra Girls the antidote to tacky ballads and noisy bands? They want to be the girl band you can dance to in your trackies.

With their modern-energetic sound and plenty of attitude these girls are certainly going to put up a fight in the charts. And they are ready to shake things up, they will be trouble with a capital T!!
