She is the little voice that nervously graced the stage and blew the crowd away with her incredible voice. Appearances can be deceptive as this shy girl started singing and belted out her own music that made the audience sit up and listen. As Carrie became more confortable on stage her personality shone through her music and won the crowd over within minutes.
Til I See You Again was welcomed by roaring crowds on tour and is her debut released from the Star to be. With heartfelt lyrics and a summery melody, it stands alone as the perfect first release.
Hitting the roads five years ago, Carrie was determined to be a success on her own merits. Where others followed the easy route by choosing to audition for talent shows, Miss Mac has enough faith in her own talent to go it alone.
In 2008 she entered a contest on a Scottish radio station and won a One To Watch Award, from which was able to support Sandi Thom and The Proclaimers on tour.
This success was just beginning, writing her own material and meeting writers and producers to guide her, Carrie was able to put together an accoustic album called 'Believe'. With a lot of effort and hardwork this album was quietly lauched in 2009.
However the Carrie Mac journey did not begin until 2010. For more information and to listen to brilliant tracks such as 'Hello' and 'Like A Star' check out Carrie's website: http://www.carriemacmusic.com/
