The Usher Man is Back with his OMG Tour

Musical memories were alive and kicking at Manchester's Evening News Arena on February 20th. As Usher hit the stage for one night only, and it was a memorable evening!

Performing most of the hits from recent album Raymond Vs Raymond, fans were treated to a highly sexed, breathtaking show!

Lucky audience member Heather was the local beauty chosen by the man himself to join him on stage. Where the hot and sweaty star seduced her on track Trading Places, laying down on a sofa on stage while he simulated sex live in front of the thousands of jealous girls.

Usher is celebrating 15 years of success this year, and his dance moves together with his soulful voice really shone throughout the 2 hour show. If you get a chance to see The Usher Man live, grab the opportunity with both hands!

New GaGa Song Released Early!

Born This Way - Out Friday!!!

Lady GaGa can barely contain her excitement after posting this on her Twitter page this week! The artwork for her controversial new single released this Friday 11th February.

With no radio play yet the single is already hyped to be a chart topper! Is this how music has gone now. Nobody knows if this song will be good, yet we are still excited at the prospect of a new offering from the machine of GaGa!

The lyrics and samples on youtube do suggest this song has the potential to be a hit record. As the lyrics suggest it may become an anthem for the homosexual community. "Don't be a drag, just be a queen. "Whether you were left outcast, bullied, or teased, rejoice and love yourself today, cos baby you were born this way."

With the singer sporting heavy eye-liner the black and white image has a glossy eighties feel to it with an aggressive white font spelling out the song title - Born This Way.

This song will be a hit as fans all over the world will have heard the song during her mega world tour - Monster's Ball Tour.  So with a sold out tour under her sparkly belt and wacky head gear, who needs radio play??

See Lady GaGa at the Grammys on 13th Feb, with an outrageous performance planned. There is no stopping the GaGa machine!

Price is Right for Jessie J!

Critics have acknowledged the talent of Jessie J and now the Public have sent her to the top of the singles chart!! Jessie J is riding high at number one this week, with her second song featuring the mighty B.o.B on Price Tag.

After years of success as a song writer for Sony,  Jessie has recorded her own album Who You Are. Where two tracks that made the track list were originally for Rihanna and Alicia Keys!

Debut single Do It Like A Dude peaked in the UK charts at Number 2, and with the massive success of Price Tag,  the album is due to be released a month early! Due to popular demand, Jessie currently has both songs in the top 10!

Without a doubt, Jessie J is a welcome addition to UK music. Her edgy, two fingers up to the world and take me as I am outlook brings a fresh attitude to the industry.

Many have tried and failed to set the charts alight with a fake image and manufactured music, but what makes Jessie different?? This girl has actual talent and an image true to herself and this will appeal to the majority of her fans.

Her message to her fans is to simply be true to who you are. This reflects in her music, and shows in her meaningful lyrics that come straight from her heart.

With her talent alone Jessie J has managed a pop breakthrough, her first record deal fell through as the company went bankrupt, then after a short stint in a girl band Jessie landed her publishing deal to write for other artists.

Singer, Songwriter and Show-pony! This girl has the enviable ability to excel at it all! Not to be missed live, her incredible stage presence is pure genious.

Second number one! Out now

Due to popular demand - debut album released a month early!

Introducing Barbarellas!!

Edele and Keavy Lynch formerly of B*witched – have grown-up and are stomping back onto the music scene as part of the most compelling and captivating acts that the industry has been waiting for– introducing Barbarellas.

After four-years of hard work and perfecting, the result is a sizzling hot metamorphosis of womanhood, with lyrical wisdom and an enriched sound that demonstrates a true coming of age from these once pop-tweens.

Barbarellas is a musical expression of who the Lynch twins really are now. The girls diligently showcased their sound to live audiences across the UK, experimenting with what really strikes a chord with the public, adapting and fine-tuning their songs to ensure that they’d be fully accepted as mature artists.

What The Hell - Avril Returns!!

Avril Lavigne returns with brand new single "What the Hell" which sees the return of the Queen of Pop rock back to rule the charts once again.

It is the first single from her upcoming fourth studio album Goodbye Lullaby, and it sounds like just another perky song helmed pop singalong. However, in the context of the recent breakup of 26 year olds marriage, the words take on more depth.

After listening to the song a few more times, the sentiments are, no pun intended, more complicated than first thought. Her writing and sound is definitely more grown up from the last bubble gum pop music from Best Damn Thing.

The single is out now on iTunes and the official video is at the bottom of this blog.

Parade's All Night Long Success!

A new girl band stole the limelight as a support act at The Pavilion Theatre in Rhyl, where Alexandra Burke headlined. See Total Biz Reviews for the full review or Total Biz Reviews (Alexandra Burke)

Parade marched on stage like a breath of fresh air. As they stood in line glancing at the crowd in the corner of their eyes the excitement was intense. The crowd could not take their eyes off the girls.

They burst into five songs, starting with Perfume, Rokstar, debut single Louder, Cee Lo Green's Forget You and potential hit Rollercoaster.

The Pararade girls all have strong live voices and the confidence in their group which showed in the performance. With their cheeky banter, suggestive dance moves and catchy pop tunes Parade should stand the test of time as the brand new Girl Band for the next generation.

Together these girls are ready to take over the charts, their dance moves were slick, outfits were sparkly and cool and their energy was fantastic!

If you can catch the girls on Alexandra Burke's All Night Long Tour then you will be in for a treat!

The debut video for Louder airs on Thursday 20th January at 5pm. It has the raw talent and excitement of Wannabe (Spice Girls) and the cool, edgy vibe of Dontcha! (Pussycat Dolls).

Look out for that! For a sneak preview see the right hand side of my blog!

Britney is back to her best!

Britney is back and is set to heat up the dancefloor  with her brand new single, "Hold It Against Me."

After many leaked versions of the track online the pop princess herself has announced on her Twitter page that the real version will blow your mind. So, is it worth waiting a month for it to be released?

Totally, the demo of "Hold It Against Me" is one of Britney's catchiest club bangers yet. Pop's ultimate starlet embraces her dance influences more than ever, perfectly delivering an angelic refrain over a propulsive backdrop of potent production from Max Martin and Dr. Luke.

The song proudly stands alongside Britney classics like "Womanizer," "Gimme More," and "Toxic," but with this track  Britney is stepping into new territory and pushing the boundaries of dance pop once more.

She sings "If I said I want your body, would you hold it against me?". It's the hottest pop track of the year, and it signals another new age for one of its brightest stars. Hold this track tight for the ride of your life…

Available here in the UK on February 20th and Britney's as-yet-untitled seventh studio album is due this March. "Hold It Against Me" couldn't come at a better time, and it's bound to be in everyone's head within a day.

Welcome back Britney…

Alex Kicks off tour in Sunny Rhyl!

ALEXANDRA Burke hits the shores of Sunny Rhyl this Thursday 13th January to begin her 31 date national theatre tour. In the first of two sold out shows, the All Night Long Tour is Alex's first tour where she is the headline act.

Rhyl has become a popular venue to host the debut shows for the latest artists to warm up for their shows, from the likes of Girls Aloud in the early days to recently JLS wowing the crowds.

Since winning the X Factor in 2008 fans all over Britain have been waiting to see their winner on the road performing songs from her debut album Overcome.

The wait is finally over as Miss Burke has been busy rehearsing hard to give her fans the show they have been patiently waiting for. Hopefully the additional songs on the deluxe album will feature within the tour too.

The Beast is about to be Unleashed!!!

Supporting Alexandra on the All Night Long Tour is new girl band Parade. The girls, Emily, Bianca, Sian, Jessica and Lauren are currently tipped to be one of the future stars of 2011 from Heat magazine.

Parade have appeared on my blog many times and deserve to be the next big girl band.
This tour will give them a whole new fanbase and I am looking forward to seeing their set, performing live and showing us what they are about.

Good Luck to Parade!

Eyes Wide Shut for JLS!

JLS are back with a brand new single Eyes Wide Shut from their second album. Featuring man of the moment Tinie Tempah the mid tempo ballad will set the mood for the Valentines release.

Singing about how much they can't believe they have the girl of their dreams, they need to sleep with their eyes open to make sure it isnt too good to be true. Its sure to have the ladies swooning after the guys.

The single version is much better than the album track, so I hope this song does really well and it would be fantastic if this could be their 5th Number One!!

With the Arena tour already kicking off in the UK, the lads are set up for another brilliant year. Can they really top an amazing 2010.

Only Tonight Live From London is out now!
Outta This World - Second album is out now!

KE$HA UNLEASHED!!

Krazy KE$HA is back with a new quirky tune and the usual spectacular video to go with it!

On new song We R Who We R, released in the UK on 16 January 2011. Bringing us the wonderful Ke$ha charms for the video is director HYPE WILLIAMS for the special effects-laden promo for single. The man behind the lens of many slick music videos.

The American sensationalist is set to give Lady GaGa a run for her many as her Fame Star rises. In the wacky video there is a scene where she falls backwards off the top of a building and lands on a crowd. Ke$ha is reinventing crowd surfing, which is very much appreciated!!

While in another she struts down a tunnel with her dancers, as explosions go off in the background. I think this single will propel her to the top of the chart, where she belongs.

After seeing her live at Radio One's Big Weekend in Bangor I can't wait for her tour. Her performances and videos are always fun, bright and colourful. With the music to match!

Ke$ha will be performing here in the UK at the Shepherd's Bush Empire on December 14.

Album Animal & Cannibal out 31 January 2011

From Plumstead to Platinum!!

British rapper Tinie Tempah has gone platinum in just seven weeks with debut album Disc-Overy.

The album debuted at number one on 10 October 2010 and was preceded by the number one singles Pass Out and Written in the Stars and the top five singles Frisky and Miami 2 Ibiza.

A duet with Kelly Rowland is due to hit the charts from Boxing Day on new song Invincible.

Tinie Tempah has officially arrived as a fully fledged UK Rap Artist. He has certainly paid his dues and his talent has finally been recognised.

He has toured with Chipmunk, Rihanna, Tynchy Stryder and Pixie Lott. So has been in great company on his rise to chart domination.

Parlophone Records who have Tinie on the books celebrated the moment Disc-Overy went platinum with a celebratory photo via Twitter.

Releasing the debut album just as the star began his 18 date live tour of the UK was a very smart move! So it is no surprise that fans snapped up the CD after seeing his amazing shows. Well done Mr Tempah and Congratulations Parlophone! Salute!

Olly Razzle Dazzles With Debut!

Olly Murs has been the coolest Xfactor contestant in the shows history. His soulful jazzy voice, unique style and quirky dance moves won the hearts of the nation. Olly was runner up to Joe McElderry in 2009's Xfactor.

The first we heard from Olly was his debut single Please Don't Let Me Go, which proved a massive hit with the public as it reached number one!! His reggae pop sound is a refreshing element in the charts at the moment. And Olly's swagger brings a whole new vibe to the music industry and girls up and down the country.

Second single Thinking Of Me grabbed number 3 in the charts after a dazzling performance on the results show of Xfactor. This continues Olly's jazzy sound and is the better single from the two released.

So what can you expect from the album? Songs like I Blame Hollywood and Accidental are as good as the singles and my favourite on the album.

Robbie style tracks such as Change is Gonna Come and Love Shine Down are brilliant songs. The album is a mix of styles but with one vision. Pure poppy jazzy music that is sure to be a massive success.
Even the ballads on the album are up tempo and show case Olly's fantastic voice.

Will Young and Robbie should expect to be forgotten, as there is new kid on the block with a last name Murs!!

Blue version of the album available at Sainsbury's
